Designer Notes

The main design goal was to create a bright, open space, but without a clinical effect. This was achieved by breaking simple, clean lines with organic forms of free-standing bathtubs and round mirrors. However, it is colour that plays a big role in the design – most rooms have a strong colour accent on the walls decorated with hexagonal Lily Pad tiles. The pattern of these tiles allows them to be arranged in several interesting configurations, such as the ‘star’ and ‘wave’ layouts that were used in this project.
