Designer Notes

The client for this project was very keen early on in the process to incorporate timber accents into the space, she stated that this was due to our beautiful display at our Amersham Showroom.  She wanted a contemporary space, with warmer elements to avoid the space felling to stark. We accomplished this by specifying Real Oak Veneer doors and adding in timber areas for the breakfast bar and bespoke table. Incorporating the table into the island creates a real wow factor and results in a multifunctional space suitable for informal dining as well as large dinner parties. We have brought in glass fronted wall units and black panelling to add different finishes to create points of interest throughout the space, whilst keeping the overall look and feel the same. A BORA Pure extractor positioned on the island, allows for cooking whilst still being part of any social events taking place.
